All our counsellors are registered as Clinical Counsellors with the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia; the highest level of registration, so you know you are getting the best therapy possible.
We offer health fund rebates
Camino Counselling is registered as a provider for BUPA as well as Police Health, St Luke's Health, Phoenix Health Fund and Emergency Services Health, through the Australian Regional Health Group (ARHG). Camino is also a Work Cover provider. Options to access rebates will be discussed at your first session or beforehand by contacting the practice.
Health Care Plans under Medicare are available for Child Psychology services only.
Our counseling rooms are private and airconditioned
We offer quiet, airconditioned comfort a short drive from the beach and cafes, should you like to enjoy the beautiful surroundings before or after the session. We understand that you don't want just anyone knowing you are attending our practice so we leave time between appointments to ensure your privacy is maintained and so we can prepare for your session.
We aren't a large practice, so you aren't just a number
Our practice is not part of a larger medical centre. We run a boutique counselling practice where you are the focus, not the practice.
If you are nervous, that's okay
It's normal to be nervous coming to your first session and we pride ourselves on our ability to put you at ease and make sure you feel safe and listened to.
